I had a knee jerk initial reaction to this cartoon. After some thought, I’m interested in who doesn’t find this cartoon blatantly racist? I know we all see things differently. Mekka Don adds to the list of odes to Obama with “Dear Obama”. As far as Barack rap songs go I think Nas, Luda and Young Jeezy did it best. “Dear Obama” isn’t bad though and I like the play on Pac’s “Dear Mama.” Tell me what you think. And although I’m not a fan of pressuring people to vote, IF and only if you feel like either candidate speaks to the issues important to you and represents the change you want to see in America then make sure you place your vote next month. – DREA
